We stopped at the small DG store on the way home to get dog food for our pups and an older gentleman was in line ahead of us with a heart shaped box of candy and some chocolates . He told us he was getting valentines for his sweetie and they’d been married 68 years! He went on to tell us how she had fallen that morning, but was ok, and that he was her “babysitter”. lol Just the sweetest thing. B turned to me as he left and said that’ll be us one day. Of course I already am standing there with big tears in my eyes cause I am a sentimental sap!
